Strategic cooperation between SOCAR Fiber and EXA Infrastructure

SOCAR Fiber signed a protocol agreement with EXA Infrastructure, the world's leading telecommunications company and infrastructure operator. - SOCAR Fiber, one of our Group companies, continues to offer backbone network services to its operators for all kinds of electronic communications and fast internet access by evaluating the global potential in the telecommunications sector. 

With the agreement signed with EXA Infrastructure, the world's leading telecommunications company and infrastructure operator, SOCAR Fiber will provide unlit fiber service over the fiber infrastructure located between the Türkiye-Greece border and the Türkiye-Georgia border. Within the scope of this cooperation protocol, in addition to the lease of a pair of fiber optic cable ends, it was also agreed that other cable ends belonging to SOCAR Fiber can be marketed by EXA to the world's giant hyper-scale global data center operators.

SOCAR Fiber will continue its projects on a global scale in the coming period and will continue to make leases to local and global companies.

Secure network connection attracts attention

Since 2013, SOCAR Fiber has been providing secure electronic communication infrastructure services through its 1850 km long fiber optic infrastructure on the TANAP Natural Gas Pipeline route. With this fiber optic line that crosses Türkiye from east to west, SOCAR Fiber provides services to 20 provinces and 67 districts in total.

The cooperation agreement with EXA Infrastructure strengthens SOCAR Fiber's position in the sector.
