Transporting the natural gas produced in Azerbaijan's Shah Deniz Field first to Türkiye and then to Europe, TANAP continues its activities under international quality, occupational health, safety, social and environmental standards. While contributing to the natural gas supply security and diversity of Türkiye and Europe, the project makes Azerbaijan the second largest gas supplier in Türkiye and the newest gas supplier in the European Union.

The Trans-Anatolian Natural Gas Pipeline Project strengthens the economic links between Türkiye, the European Union, and Azerbaijan. The project paves the way for new economic and political partnerships by bringing these countries closer. It inspires future energy projects with the synergy it creates within the sector.

TANAP has won numerous awards since its establishment. Most recently, it won the 'Project of the Year' award given by PMI (Project Management Institute). TANAP follows the project management process cost-effectively without compromising on safety and quality, and with this award, it has announced to a global stage that it has professional management standards.
