SOCAR Türkiye and TANAP Board of Directors Meetings Held in Istanbul

The Board of Directors meeting of SOCAR Türkiye was held in Istanbul on December 20, 2024. During the meeting, SOCAR Türkiye’s 2024 annual report, the company’s significant achievements, and its performance in reaching strategic targets were thoroughly reviewed. The meeting also served as a platform for in-depth discussions on the goals set for 2025 and the projects planned for the upcoming year.

In light of regional and global developments in the energy sector, SOCAR Türkiye’s new-term strategies and action plans were also addressed. The company’s commitment to sustainable growth and innovative approaches was once again emphasized, with a strong focus on maintaining and further strengthening its position in the sector.

On the same date, the year-end Board of Directors meeting of the Trans-Anatolian Natural Gas Pipeline (TANAP) — the strategic project that transports Azerbaijani natural gas to Türkiye and Europe — was also convened.

The meeting included a detailed review of TANAP’s activities throughout 2024. Operational achievements, the project's contribution to energy supply security, and its strategic importance were discussed in depth. In addition, goals for 2025 and the planned initiatives to support those objectives were comprehensively evaluated.
