SOCAR Türkiye and TANAP Board of Directors Meetings Held in Istanbul

The SOCAR Türkiye Board of Directors meeting and the TANAP Board of Directors meeting were held in Istanbul on July 30, 2026.

The SOCAR Türkiye Board of Directors meeting, held at SOCAR Türkiye’s headquarters in Istanbul, was attended by SOCAR President and SOCAR Türkiye Board Chairman Rovshan Najaf, members of the Board of Directors, and members of the SOCAR Türkiye Executive Committee.

During the meeting, current developments regarding the operations of SOCAR Türkiye and its group companies were discussed, and views were exchanged on the company’s initiatives in line with its integrated business model, financial performance, operational efficiency, sustainable growth targets, and long-term strategic roadmap. Strategic projects, investment processes, and priority focus areas for the coming period were evaluated.

The meeting also examined the impact of global and regional developments in the energy sector on the industry and the company’s operations. Strategic steps to adapt to changing energy dynamics and priority areas to support competitive strength were shared. Additionally, the contributions that initiatives focused on digital transformation, innovation, and sustainability will make to the company’s future growth vision were discussed.

It was emphasized that SOCAR Türkiye will continue to add value to the energy sector in Türkiye through its strong corporate structure, long-term investment approach, and integrated business model, and that it is resolutely advancing toward its strategic goals in line with operational excellence, sustainable growth, and innovative practices.

In his speech at the meeting, Rovshan Najaf, President of SOCAR and Chairman of the Board of Directors of SOCAR Türkiye, highlighted Türkiye’s critical role in the energy sector and emphasized the importance of SOCAR Türkiye’s strategic investments in this field. It was stated that, in line with its future-oriented goals, SOCAR Türkiye will continue to further strengthen its pioneering position in sustainability and its leadership in the energy sector through a growth strategy focused on innovation and digital transformation.

At the TANAP Board of Directors meeting held the same day, participants discussed developments related to TANAP’s operations, its contributions to energy supply security in Türkiye and Europe, its operational successes and strategic importance, as well as developments in regional energy markets, contributions to natural gas supply security, and priority areas of work for the coming period.
