SOCAR Terminal

Setting out to become the 'Biggest Integrated Port of the Aegean Region', the company hosted its first ship in 2016 and has been under SOCAR Türkiye since 2018. SOCAR Terminal has received $400 million in financing and is now a strategic base in the logistics industry.

Advanced Facility Structure

SOCAR Terminal has an annual container handling capacity of 1.5 million TEU and has a logistics area of 42 hectares in the port area for container storage and 6 hectares in the back service area. There is a 150-meter-long and 10-meter-deep general cargo berth in the terminal zone of the enterprise. This berth has a carrying capacity of 10 tons per square meter and can accommodate ships weighing up to 165,000 DWT. In project cargo loadings that require storage, an additional 30 decares of storage area can be provided.

Operational Excellence

SOCAR Terminal can host ships with a capacity of 18,000 TEU with a single piece of quay structure of 700 meters and a minimum water depth of 16 meters and is vital in importing and exporting essential products such as healthcare supplies, pharmaceuticals, and food.

Representing the logistics link of SOCAR Türkiye's 'Refinery-Petrochemistry-Energy-Logistics-Distribution-Transmission' integration, SOCAR Terminal is the largest integrated port in the Aegean Region today.
