Occupational health and safety are central to its activities - SOCAR Storage carries out services such as storage of fuel products and liquefied petroleum gas (LPG) in tanks, filling operations to land and sea tankers, and discharge functions from sea tankers to tanks, in line with the demands of its stakeholders. Being the only storage facility in the Aegean Region where fuel and LPG can be handled at the same place with its wide-scale service area, the company also has the advantage of being able to supply pipelines from two independent refineries.

Located in Izmir's Aliaga district, the facility provides services to many locations in Türkiye, with 530 thousand cubic meters of fuel product and 45 thousand cubic meters of LPG storage capacity. Continuing to operate at total capacity with 43 fuel tanks and 9 lpg tanks, the company demonstrates superior performance to provide its customers with the safest possible storage service.

SOCAR Storage aims to improve its operational capability by constantly increasing its storage capacity. As a result of the integration process, SOCAR Storage is connected to the STAR Refinery by pipelines and provides operational flexibility to the refinery thanks to its high capacity. The strength arising from the cooperation of the two companies provides access to broader geographies within the country and significantly contributes to the protection of margins.
