The SOCAR Energy School Program produces its first graduates

The graduates of the SOCAR Energy School, a program initiated through the collaboration of SOCAR Türkiye and Sabancı University, were awarded certificates at a ceremonial event for their participation and achievements.

The first SOCAR Energy School Certification Program, organized by SOCAR Türkiye, Türkiye’s largest holdings company, in collaboration with the Executive Development Unit (EDU) of Sabancı University, has now ended. Sixty-five participants who successfully completed the 6-week program were awarded their certificates at the ceremony that took place.

The aim of the SOCAR Energy School certification program is to provide an opportunity to analyze global and regional energy-related topics from the wide perspective of a 360-degree assessment, providing academia and industry the chance to collaborate, The participants comprised individuals from a range of disciplines—from executives from the public and private sectors to members of the press and participants originating from a variety of sectors.

Among the issues treated at the SOCAR Energy School are matters related to energy, the demand for energy, new energy technologies, as well as electricity, the operation of electric grid circuits, the petroleum and natural gas industry and markets, the energy policies of the Caspian Sea Region, Türkiye, the Middle East, Eastern Mediterranean and Azerbaijan, nuclear energy, renewable energy, energy safety, corporate climate change management and energy regulations–a total of 63 class/hours of educational material. The SOCAR Energy School program is expected to also be held in 2023.
