Second Phase of the “Women’s Energy in Entrepreneurship” Program Launches
The second phase of the Women’s Energy in Entrepreneurship Program, implemented in collaboration with SOCAR Türkiye and the Turkish Entrepreneurship Foundation (GİRVAK), is officially launching. Applications for the program—designed for women living in Aliağa, İzmir, who are neither in education nor employment (NEET)will be open until February 27, 2026.
Sponsored by SOCAR Türkiye, the program aims to empower women in the Aliağa region by supporting them in transforming their business ideas into viable entrepreneurial ventures. By removing barriers to entrepreneurship, the initiative seeks to strengthen women’s participation in the local economy and promote sustainable social development.
The program was first implemented last year and successfully completed with the participation of 50 women selected from among 335 applicants residing in Aliağa. Over an eight-month period, participants received a total of 40 hours of training and mentoring in areas including entrepreneurship, financial literacy, digital skills, and professional development. Building on this knowledge, participants developed concrete and feasible business ideas.
More than a training initiative, the program was designed as a holistic empowerment model—fostering solidarity among women, boosting self-confidence, and creating long-term social impact.
Application Deadline: February 27
In the second phase, 50 women selected from among the applicants will once again take part in an eight-month training and mentoring journey, gaining access to the entrepreneurship ecosystem. With a strong focus on growth driven by women’s potential, the program will offer comprehensive support ranging from entrepreneurship and financial literacy to digital competencies and social collaboration.
