SOCAR Petrol Ticaret is among the top 10 exporters of the year 2022

SOCAR Petrol Ticaret, a subsidiary of SOCAR Türkiye group companies, ranked 3rd in the '2022 Export Champions' list announced by TIM.

In the list of '2022 Export Champions' unveiled by the Turkish Exporters' Assembly (TIM), SOCAR Petrol Ticaret, a part of the SOCAR Türkiye group of companies, secured the 3rd position. This achievement is notable as SOCAR Türkiye stands as the country's foremost integrated industrial holding and holds the distinction of being the largest direct foreign investor.

With the participation of President Recep Tayyip Erdoğan, the Export Champions Awards Ceremony, orchestrated by TIM, took place at the Raffles Hotel. At the event, awards were presented to the top 10 companies that had the highest exports in Türkiye last year. President Recep Tayyip Erdoğan presented the award to SOCAR Petrol Trading to Vice President of SOCAR and also a member of the SOCAR Türkiye Board of Directors, Süleyman Gasimov.

Speaking about the matter, Vice President of SOCAR and Member of the SOCAR Türkiye Board of Directors, Süleyman Gasimov, stated, 'With the awareness of our strategic importance for the Turkish economy, we are working towards the strengthening of Azerbaijan and Türkiye, and the increase in societal welfare. With our investments exceeding 18 billion dollars over the past 15 years, we are Türkiye's largest direct foreign investor and the biggest integrated industrial conglomerate. With SOCAR Türkiye's investment and operational prowess, we are determined to continue serving Türkiye's economy, industry, and social development for many years to come.
