Applications for the fourth term of the SOCAR Energy School, launched in collaboration between SOCAR Türkiye and Sabancı University Executive Development Unit (EDU), will open on Wednesday, September 10. The program, open to individuals interested in specializing in the energy sector, will accept applications until October 11.
SOCAR Energy School, a certificate program initiated in 2022 by SOCAR Türkiye—the largest integrated industrial group and the largest direct foreign investor in Türkiye—in cooperation with Sabancı University EDU, is set to begin its fourth term. The program will spotlight the strategic positioning of Azerbaijan and Türkiye in the global energy landscape, with a particular focus on trending topics in the sector. Key areas of discussion will include renewable energy, energy security, green transformation, and regional integration, as well as the contributions of both countries through their energy cooperation.
Since its inception, the SOCAR Energy School has stood out for its comprehensive curriculum tailored for participants. With its fourth term, the program continues to serve as a sustainable platform that brings together public and private sector executives, academics, media professionals, international policymakers, and energy experts seeking to deepen their knowledge in the field of energy. In the first three terms, a total of 204 participants were admitted following a rigorous evaluation of 2,023 applicants.
The newly designed curriculum for the fourth term includes twenty-five core courses and five elective courses delivered by leading experts in their respective fields, as well as three assessment sessions, four special sessions, and thirteen panels featuring globally renowned speakers discussing current energy policy issues. The program comprises a total of 142 hours of content, with the majority of sessions held online. The opening and closing lectures, site visits, and social activities will take place in person at SOCAR Türkiye’s facilities in Aliağa and Istanbul.
The fourth term will also be free of charge
As in previous years, participation in the fourth term of the SOCAR Energy School will be free of charge. A total of 65 participants will be selected for the upcoming term. Applications can be submitted through www.socarenergyschool.com/en and www.socarenergyschool.com until Saturday, October 11, 2025. Following the evaluation of applications and selection of participants, the program will commence on November 29, 2025, and conclude on March 7, 2026.
