SOCAR became the Energy Sponsor and European Cup Kit Sponsor of Galatasaray
SOCAR, which holds the position of Türkiye's leading foreign direct investor, has taken on the role of energy sponsor for Galatasaray during the 2023-2024 season, while also serving as the primary kit sponsor for the Men's Football Team during their European Cup matches.
According to the agreement between SOCAR Türkiye, Galatasaray Sports Club, and Galatasaray Sportif A.Ş., SOCAR has secured the right to utilize the term 'Galatasaray Energy Sponsor' across all platforms. Additionally, the Galatasaray Football Team will display the SOCAR logo on their jerseys for all official matches played under UEFA in the 2023-2024 season, including Champions League, Europa League, and Conference League matches.
SOCAR Türkiye's acting CEO, Elchin Ibadov, expressed great satisfaction with the collaboration, stating, As SOCAR, we are adding a new link to our investments in Türkiye. Galatasaray Sports Club President Dursun Özbek emphasized that this agreement brings together the energy of two important brands, stating, 'With this meaningful collaboration established on the 100th anniversary of the founding of the Republic of Türkiye by the Great Leader Mustafa Kemal Atatürk and the 100th anniversary of the birth of Azerbaijan's National Leader Heydar Aliyev, the leading sports and energy organizations of these two fraternal countries have united their strengths.
