
Third Semester of SOCAR Energy School Begins
The third semester of the SOCAR Energy School, implemented in cooperation with SOCAR Türkiye and Sabancı University's Executive Development Unit (EDU), begins. Applications for the program, where participants who want to specialize in the field of energy can apply, will end on October 12.
SOCAR Türkiye, Türkiye's largest foreign direct investor and the largest integrated industrial group, is launching the third SOCAR Energy School certificate program, the first of which was organized in 2022 in cooperation with Sabancı University's Executive Development Unit (EDU). In the SOCAR Energy School certificate program, global and regional energy issues, Türkiye's and Azerbaijan's energy strategies, new trends in energy will be discussed and the topics that will take place at the United Nations Climate Summit COP29, scheduled to take place in Azerbaijan in November, will be evaluated.
The program aims to bring together public and private sector managers, academics, media members, international policy makers and energy experts who want to specialize in the field of energy. In the certificate program, which offers the opportunity to have a comprehensive and broad perspective in all areas of energy and to evaluate global and regional energy issues in a multidimensional way, expert trainers and world-renowned speakers share their knowledge and experience in different fields of energy.
A total of 130 participants were accepted to the SOCAR Energy School certificate program, which has received over 1400 applications since 2022, as a result of meticulous evaluations.
The new semester is also free of charge
This year, 65 participants will be accepted to the SOCAR Energy School certificate program, which will be held free of charge in its third term. Applications for the program can be made at www.socarenergyschool.com/en and www.socarenergyschool.com until Saturday, October 12, 2024. Following the evaluation of the applications and the selection of the participants, the program will start on November 30 and end on February 10, 2025. The opening ceremony and the first lecture of the program will be held physically at SOCAR Türkiye's production facilities in Aliağa. The trainings to be given by world-renowned experts in the field of energy and faculty members from national and international universities will be followed on the online platform.
Opportunity to apply for research support
Participants who successfully complete the certificate program can also be candidates for the SOCAR Energy School Research Support Program with their research in the field of energy.
In its third term, the SOCAR Energy School certificate program will also be enriched with social events and special projects, enabling participants to maintain communication with each other through this special network and to carry this communication to different platforms.
