SOCAR Türkiye and Mitsubishi will collaborate for clean and efficient energy

SOCAR Türkiye and Mitsubishi have signed a memorandum of understanding to evaluate business opportunities in the areas of low carbon technology and energy efficiency.

SOCAR Türkiye, the largest direct foreign investor in Türkiye, has signed a memorandum of understanding with Mitsubishi for clean and efficient energy. Both firms will work together to create alliances in the realms of low-carbon technology and energy efficiency. The signing event occurred at the headquarters of SOCAR Türkiye, with the presence of Elchin İbadov, Acting CEO of SOCAR Türkiye, and Hiroshi Matsuda, CEO of Mitsubishi Heavy Industries for the EMEA region.

SOCAR Türkiye and Mitsubishi Heavy Industries have formalized an agreement to cooperate in the forthcoming period on endeavors related to low-carbon technology and energy efficiency as offered by products within the MHI (Mitsubishi Heavy Industries) group. Under the terms of this understanding, the two entities will investigate potential avenues for clean, efficient, and economical energy solutions. Furthermore, they will delve into subjects such as hydrogen, ammonia, and CCUS as part of low-carbon technologies, alongside addressing turbomachinery, including CO2 and H2 compressors, for facilitating the transition towards sustainable energy.
