Elchin Ibadov graduated from the University of Illinois-Chicago and in 2002 started to work at the World Trade Center Chicago as Research Specialist. Beginning in 2003, he took on a series of positions at PricewaterhouseCoopers (PwC). In the period 2014-2019, Elchin Ibadov worked as Finance Director and CFO at STAR Refinery. In November 2019, he was appointed as CFO of Petkim, meantime assumed the role of Head of Finance of SOCAR Türkiye Refinery and Petrochemicals Business Unit, including STAR Refinery, Petkim, SOCAR Storage and SOCAR Petrol Ticaret. Elchin Ibadov completed a professional training and certification programs at Harvard Business School. He has authored and translated various textbooks of economics, accounting, finance, International Financial Reporting Standards (IFRS) and financial auditing. Ibadov is also a permanent member of international finance and auditing organizations such as ACCA, ACFE and IIA. Ibadov has served as CEO of SOCAR Türkiye since February 2023.

After graduating from the Department of Finance at the Azerbaijan State University of Economics, Kanan Mirzayev earned a master's degree in the Department of Management of Industrial Enterprises at Aston University in the UK. Continuing his education in the UK, Mirzayev received a Senior Management Diploma in Business Administration at the Chartered Management Institute (CMI) and studied the Leadership Development program at Harvard Business School between 2019 -2020.

Mirzayev, engaged in several international projects and served in the companies of SOCAR from 2004 till 2011, assumed various positions in the fields such as Business Administration, Occupational Health, and Safety and Quality. Since 2011, he has taken the roles of Occupational Health, Safety and Environment Manager at Baku Wind Energy Project, Business Analyst at Investment Department of SOCAR, Senior Business Analyst and Deputy CEO at SOCAR Energy Greece, Deputy General Manager of Strategy and Business Development at Petkim, Deputy Head of Business Excellence at Refinery and Petrochemistry Business Unit, Chief Strategy Officer at SOCAR Türkiye respectively.

Mirzayev has served as Head of Refinery and Petrochemicals Business Unit at SOCAR Türkiye and Petkim General Manager since September 2023.

Fuad Ibrahimov graduated from the Istanbul University Faculty of Political Sciences, Department of International Relations, with a bachelor's degree and from France's ESCP Business School - Energy Management program with a master's degree. Then, he completed IESE Business School Leadership program in Spain. Starting his career in Türkiye in 2003, Ibrahimov has continued his professional development in many commercial, strategy, business development, and investment areas.

After working in different fields for more than ten years in Türkiye, Azerbaijan, and the United Arab Emirates, Ibrahimov joined the SOCAR Türkiye family as Petrochemicals Commercial Group Director in 2017. Afterward, he took part in various managerial duties at the petrochemical, refinery, and holding headquarters. As of October 2021, he started his duty in the Gas Business Unit.

Teymur Abasguliyev graduated from the Department of International Relations and Law at Baku State University with a bachelor's and master's degree.

He started his professional career in 1994 at the Center for Strategic and International Studies. As a senior manager and partner at PricewaterhouseCoopers from 1996 to 2013, he managed projects for various multinationals and local market-leading companies in Central and Eastern Europe.

As the Chief Financial Officer of Group Companies at SOCAR Türkiye Enerji A.Ş. since 2013, Abasguliyev has been a member of the UK Association of Certified Public Accountants (FCCA) since 2002.

Mikayil Yusifov graduated from Bilkent University, Department of International Relations. After a master's degree in International Relations and Economics at Corvinus University in Hungary, he had a second master's degree in European and International Relations at Vienna Diplomatic Academy in Austria.

He started his professional career in 2008 as the director of the Azerbaijan-NATO school under the Ministry of Foreign Affairs of the Republic of Azerbaijan. Until 2013, he worked as the Protocol Branch Manager at the Central Bank of Azerbaijan. At the same time, he worked as a lecturer in International Relations, Security, and Political Science at Hazar University between 2009-2013.

Continuing his career at SOCAR Türkiye Enerji A.Ş., he served as Protocol Manager, Chief of Staff, and Executive Office Director at SOCAR Türkiye Enerji A.Ş., respectively. Yusifov assumed the position of Chief Corporate Services Officer at SOCAR Türkiye Enerji A.Ş. in 2018. He has served as Chief Communications and Government Relations Officer since October 2020.

Beginning her professional career in 2000 at Azercell Telecom in Azerbaijan, Naila Mammadova has since continued her career in Türkiye, starting in 2013. She has worked across various industries, including Telecommunications, Retail, Fast-Moving Consumer Goods (FMCG), and Energy. Notably, she has held leadership roles at renowned multinational companies such as TeliaSonera Eurasia, Metro Cash & Carry, and pladis. After joining SOCAR Türkiye Energy A.Ş. in 2018, Mammadova has progressed through roles such as Organizational Development Group Coordinator and Corporate Human Resources Group Director. As of 2024, she holds the position of Chief Human Resources and Corporate Services Officer at SOCAR Türkiye Energy A.Ş.

Additionally, since September 2023, she has assumed the role of Chairperson at SOCAR Gemi Acenteliği Anonim Şirketi.

Shahin Ismayilbayli graduated from the Academy of Public Administration under the President of the Republic of Azerbaijan Faculty of Political Administration, Department of Law with a bachelor's degree and from ADA University and Maastricht School of Management with a master's degree (MBA). Beginning in 2008, he took on a series of positions at SOCAR Headquarters as a lawyer, then division head and deputy director of the Legal Department.

In 2021, he was appointed Head of the Strategic Development Department. He served as a Director of the Corporate Governance Center from 2022, managing different projects, as well as taking an active role (Head of Impact team) in SOCAR’s flagship transformation project of the Target Operating Model of SOCAR. In 2023 he took on the role of Deputy Vice President (Legal & Compliance) of SOCAR. Since January 2024, he has been serving as the Chief Legal, Compliance and Corporate Governance Officer at SOCAR Türkiye Enerji A.Ş.

Ismayilbayli also serves as a Member of the Board of Directors of several SOCAR Group companies in different business segments of SOCAR.

After completing undergraduate studies in the Business Administration (English) department at Marmara University, Ömür Önk began his professional career at KPMG Turkey. Following roles in the audit and advisory departments at KPMG, he gained experience in private equity, investment banking, mergers and acquisitions, project finance, strategy, and business development at Alkhair Capital, Unlu & Co., and Global Investment Holding.

Ömür Önk obtained the CFA (Chartered Financial Analyst) Charterholder designation in 2013. He successfully completed the INSEAD MBA program in 2015.

From 2018 to 2019, Ömür Önk served as the CFO at Revo Capital. In 2019, he joined SOCAR Türkiye Enerji A.Ş., providing interim support as the CFO of the Gas Business Unit during the acquisition of EWE Holding and its integration into the SOCAR group. In 2020, Ömür Önk became the CFO of Millenicom, and in February 2022, he was promoted to the position of Millenicom General Manager. Since January 2024, he has been serving as the Chief Strategy and Sustainability Officer at SOCAR Türkiye Enerji A.Ş.

Akın Börekçi began his career in information technology working on the Mavi Akım and the Baku-Tbilisi-Ceyhan Pipeline Project in 2001. He continued his career in finance, retail, technology and IT integration companies. He has been working at SOCAR Türkiye where he took on significant roles during the TANAP and STAR Refinery projects and led the IT transition process for SOCAR Storage since 2011.

He played a key role in establishing the central information technology team and infrastructure, covering all SOCAR Türkiye group companies, including PETKIM, STAR Refinery, SOCAR Storage, SOCAR Ticaret, Bursagaz and Kayserigaz through the integration process. After successfully completing major transformation projects post-integration, Akın Börekçi has assumed the position of Chief Digital Transformation and Information Technologies Officer at SOCAR Türkiye Enerji A.Ş from 2024 onwards.
